Theoretically it should be a dry wine. In fact, it is a sweet wine. It reminds me oak matured muscat grape. Very good price for a ridiculous price (3,9 eur). Nevertheless, they should improve the label!
You can get it only in their shop. Worth to purchase it if you visit the cellar. You can taste in advance.

Finally, a star in the sky. An outstanding wine that fully fills up your mouth. Nice texture and post-taste. Worth to taste it. A really good quality/price wine. Worth to taste it. One of the best wines I have ever tasted, and its price is below 10 eur per bottle.

It's a pitty, but I haven't received the same good impression that I had with el Albar Barricas 2002. Nothing special in this bottle. In fact, I feel that it is expensive, while I consider the 2002 as outstanding. other wine tasters had the same impression. Maybe this bottle was in bad conditions?

This is a nice DO Toro wine. Pleasant to drink. Its price is around 9 EUR. The most remarcable thing is the parfume and the long post-taste after drinking it. Worth to taste.

Matsu offers a nice serie of labels. Nevertheless, the wine is another history. It is a really expensive product for an strange wine. Probably this is due to the owner, who is from Rioja. This wine discredits the wonderful TORO wines. I do not recommend it. I paid 18,2 eur and Its real value should be around 3 eur. However, it is drinkable. Much better than Matsu young wine "el pícaro". They really have a lot of picaresque selling these wines at these expensive prices.

I must say that I love Pla de Bages wine. Plenty of texture and taste. When you put it in the glass, the light cannot pass through it, due to its high density.
I think that Pla de Bages is, probably, the area with highest quality/price ratio in Catalunya.
This wine is not an exception. Nevertheless, although this is not usual, in this case I feel that the wine from celler cooperatiu Artium is better.
