Molly Malone's

Molly Manole's
Hope street 224, Glasgow

This is an irish pub in Glasgow. Nevertheless, I think that it does not have the genuine atmosphere of an irish pub. It has some lonely drinkers.

Corinthian (2/2)

Corinthian
Ingram Street 191, Glasgow
http://www.g1group.co.uk/

Voted one of the top 100 restaurants in Europe by the observer (I think it is this list http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2005/jul/10/foodanddrink.shopping ), it is really a very good quality/price restaurant. Worth to visit it. In addition, the building itself is extremely nice. See the photos below.

Corinthian (1/2)

Corinthian
Ingram Street 191, Glasgow

This is the best restaurant I have visited in Glasgow. In addition, it is elegant, they provide outstanding dishes for a very reasonable price. Thus, it deserves the OUTSTANDING qualification. Worth to visit it! specially because Glasgow is plenty of places that provide very low quality food. Next post will be devoted to the outstanding building.

fixed price market menu for 15,5 GBP. Although it should be ordered before 7 PM they provided it for us after 8 PM, on a wednesday.
very good salmon

fish:
pasta (not the italian pasta, the catalan "pasta fullada") with vegetables:

a very good dessert, although too much sweet & caloric, in my opinion:
the price is amazing. thus, I put the receipt. You will check that it is a true bargain:

Lauder's

Lauder's
76 Sauchiehall, Glasgow

This is a pub with a friendly service. It was the first time I saw this crazy measure for whiskey.

The counting house

The counting house
St vincent Pl 2, Glasgow

This is a nice place that offers low quality meals (at least the salmon and the burgers)

a nice dish of Reggae Reggae nachos. Worth to taste them (6,89 GBP):
an awful salmon with an awful sauce (liquid butter) and awful vegetables and potatoe (6,59 GBP):

Republic Bier halle

Republic Bier halle
9 Gordon Street, Glasgow

This is a nice place for beers. They have more than 130 from all around the world, including "estrella Damm". Worth to visit if you are tired due to the very soft Glasgow tap beers.

Yate's

Yate's
134 - 136 West George Street, Glasgow

This is a not fashion place that offers a cheap and bad beer called birthday ale. I do not recommend it.
nice colour, not very good taste. Very soft (may be they add water to the beer? nevertheless, this is a general problem in Glasgow. fortunately, you can always order a Guiness).

Tigertiger Glasgow

Tigertiger Glasgow
The Glasshouse, 20 Glassford St, Glasgow

Caesar Salad: Really basic. The lettuce leaves remember me those that you can find in "mercat de la Boqueria" on the floor.

chicken fajitas. Reasonably good quality and quantity. Nevertheless the slices were too large. They should cut it more!:
