Tokaji

This is a very strange wine. I tasted several bottles in the past and no one convinced me. This is a couple of labels. Maybe someone will be able to explain why this wine is so famous and easy-to-find, even at El Corte Ingles.
Comparatively, there are many other cheap and better sweet wines.
The funny thing is the name "puttonyos". Theoretically, the higher the number of puttonyos, the better (sweeter) it is.

Samos vin doux

This is a tribute to another very interesting sweet wine. In this case, it is made in Greece.
Unfortunately, due to safety regulations, to bring wine from personal trips is not as easy as previosly, and I do not want to take the risk of putting a bottle inside the checked baggage. Thus, nowadays, I do not have too much chance to taste foreign wines.

Celler Monserrat, Mataró

It is nice to taste wine, but it is also nice to walk and look around in a wine shop, such as this one in Mataró, Barcelona. C/ Sta Maria 14.

Moscato d'Asti

Although it has nothing to do with the French Muscat de Rivesaltes,
this Muscat is another outstanding wine made with the same grape.

This is a slightly sweet and sparkling wine with a low alcoholic degree, 5º. Anyway, you do not have the feeling that the amount of alcohol is below the reasonable limits, and the flavour is fantastic! Moscato d'Asti is a Denominazione di origine controllata wine produced mainly in the districts of Asti (north-west of Italy) and in smaller nearby regions in the districts of Alessandria and Cuneo.

It's worth to taste it and quite easy to find in specialized shops and super-markets.

Beer John Martin's

This a tribute to an outstanding beer from Belgium, John Martin. In the past, There was a special place in Barcelona to take it (see the first photo). Unfortunately, this place changed the name and the kind of beers. At this moment, you can try to find the nearest John Martin's bar here:

Beer Moritz

Unfortunately, the original Edel is not produced any more, and it is hard to find Keler in Barcelona.

Fortunately, the Moritz beer, which was discontinued in 1978, is being produced again!

Beer Keler

Originary from Donostia,this outstanding beer belongs to the catalan brewery Damm. Unfortunately, it is really hard to find (almost impossible) in Barcelona.
Alcoholic degree is 6 (According to my personal preferences, my favourite beers are between 6 and 8 degrees).

Thanks to my good friends Miguel G. and Karmele, because, in several imaginative ways, they let me to drink it.
I used to drink it at Txakolin, in Marquès de l'Argentera 19, Barcelona, but according to the waiter, I was the unique customer that ordered it, and it is not available anymore there.
