This is an outstanding place for cocktails. There is no written menu, but the boss, Manel Tirvió, will make an excellent job trying to guess what you need.
My recommendation: taste the outstanding gin-tònic of gin tanqueray ten.
From a theoretical point of view, this place is not in Barcelona. It is in L'Hospitalet. From a practical point of view, it is really close to Barcelona, very near to Santa Eulàlia metro station.

Gessami Gramona

This is another very good white wine made by an outstanding cellar, Gramona (http://www.gramona.com/).

Muscat Sumarroca

Several days ago I spoke about muscat de Rivesaltes (http://dalpescatore.blogspot.com/2008/06/muscat-de-rivesaltes.html) . Today I want to present another outstanding dry muscat, made by Sumarroca (http://www.sumarroca.es/). In fact, all the single-grape (monovarietals) of this wine producer are really good.

Nostrum vs Selecta, San Miguel

Bad news: few days ago we spoke about an outstanding beer that was discontinued a lot of years ago: Edel Damm (http://dalpescatore.blogspot.com/2008/07/beer-edel-damm.html). Now the history is repeated with another very good beer: Nostrum San Miguel. The substitute has the same alcoholic degree but the taste is two orders of magnitude smaller.

Wrong decision, guys, this new beer is a fully disaster!

This is a nice restaurant in Sant Pau d'Ordal (Barcelona). They have good quality and a very large selection of wines. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of the dishes.
