Zivana

Zivana

http://www.loel.com.cy/spirits/local_aperitif/zivana.php

This is a nice spirit distillate from grape marcs produced in Cyprus. It is usually drank before lunch although its alcoholid degree is 45º. If you put it into the fridge you will realize that the density gets stronger. Its pleasant to drink and healthy. Don't confuse it with the greek ouzo. This is not an anisette. It is like an orujo, but this one has better taste than orujo.
I have been able to taste it thanks to my good friend M.

Five Kings

Five Kings

This is an Outstanding brandy from Cyprus. Really smooth, probably due to the double distillation process. Worth to taste. In addition the package is also great. I have been able to taste it thanks to my good friend M.

Gerbeaud (2/2)

Gerbeaud

Sacher pie is outstanding and cheaper than in Vienna. Almond pie was also great, although I prefer the Sacher. the price is reasonable for the pies, but the capucino is quite expensive. (1 eur=260 fiorints)

Yaso 2007

Yaso

This is a Toro wine. Although it has a nice taste, it does not have enough density, texture, etc., it is not intense enough. I paid around 8,2 eur at Colamo Quilez.

Enate Cellar

Enate Cellar

This is a very nice cellar from the architectural point of view. It is really hughe! Worth to visit. However they have the stupid regulation that kids are not accepted.

private rooms for customers (they can store the wine in the cellar):

some nice art inside, explaining the history of the wine:
