Caleuche

Caleuche
C/Sant Pau 116, Barcelona

Caleuche is a mythical ghost ship. In our case, it is an argentinian pizzeria that borrows the name from this ship.
they have argentinian wine from Mendoza, which is an outstangin region for high quality wines. In this case, although they charge 16 EUR for the wine, it is only correct.

they bring to you some nice and warm bread. In fact it is the same stuff used for pizzas.

They also provide some excellent olive oil to put in the bread.
starters:

Patata caleuche (asada a las brasas, con queso cheddar, gorgonzola & bacon): 6 EUR
empanadilla de carne suave (beed meat): 3,5 EUR too small but excellent quality. The best one I have ever tasted

Main course:
Pizza for two people, number 18. Price: 18 EUR. It contains: Tomato, parmesano cheese, olives, ham. Excellent quality. Too big.

dessert (both of them were outstanding. Really home-made):
tartín de plátanos y dátiles al caramelo con helado de coco: 5 EUR
crocante de manzanas con helado de nata:4.5 EUR

price for two people: 53 EUR
do not try to order meat or fish. They have a limited menu. although they claim that they are an argentinian oven (horno patagónico), in fact, they are a pizzera. You really feel full after the meal. the desserts are really caloric.
